Professor Jasmine Fledderjohann
Professor in Sociology and Social JusticeResearch Overview
Broadly speaking, my research focuses on social justice and inequalities, particularly in the area of health and well-being. I examine 1) food security and nutrition and 2) sexual and reproductive health around the globe. I am currently a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. My fellowship examines the measurement and sociocultural correlates of food insecurity in Ethiopia, India, Peru, and Vietnam. Further details of the project can be found at: https://wp.lancs.ac.uk/foodequity/. (Please note: I cannot fund PhD studentships, and all postdoctoral roles on the project have already been filled.)
PhD Supervision Interests
I currently have very limited availability for PhD supervision. I am only able to supervise projects which relate directly to my work on global food insecurity at this time. I do not have funding available for PhD studentships, and there are no further postdoctoral researcher opportunities on the project at this time.
