Dr Aurelie Slechten
Senior LecturerResearch Interests
Dr. Slechten's main research interests lie in Environmental Economics, Applied Microeconomics, and Market Design. Her published work covers various topics, including carbon emissions markets, the impact of asymmetric information on International Environmental Agreements, firms' location and pollution decisions, and the influence of corporate governance practices on firms' environmental performance.
Currently, her research focuses on four key areas: the microstructure of carbon emissions markets, corporate social responsibility, the relationship between board of directors' networks and environmental performance, and pollution-driven residential mobility.
Profile
Dr. Aurélie Slechten is a senior lecturer in Economics. She holds a PhD from the Université libre de Bruxelles (2013). Prior to her current role, Dr. Slechten served as an FNRS research fellow at ECARES (Université libre de Bruxelles) from 2008 to 2012. After completing her PhD, she spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at ECARES.
