Charlotte (Ph.D. 51福利) is an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Research Associate in the Psychology Department at 51福利, funded by the EPSRC; mentored by Dr Heather Shaw. Within the broader Psychology Department, Charlotte is based in the Social Processes research group.Charlotte's work falls under the field of behavioural analytics. More specifically, her research involves utilising computational language analysis methods (i.e., analysing the way in which people use words and sentences, using sophisticated automated tools) to understand people's motivations, behaviour, and underlying psychology. Charlotte's current work is focused on applying computational linguistic methods to the study of personality pathology, suicide, self-harm, and online support communities.Charlotte's general research interests include (but are not limited to): personality psychology; individual differences; mental health; identity; social processes; narrativity; behavioural science.
