Becky Beesley
PhD studentResearch Overview
My primary focus is in the improvement of services for children with epilepsy and their families. In particular I am interested in carer adaptation to childhood epilepsy and in the provision of paediatric Epilepsy Specialist Nurses (ESNs). I am also looking to develop my interests in the issues surrounding transition from paediatric to adult epilepsy services. Much of my work is with qualitative research methods as I have a particular interest in semi-structured interviews and medical consultations.
